YMCA Summer Day Camp

The YMCA's Summer Day Camp is a place where kids get the opportunity to enjoy the summer months through recreational activities, educational gaming, and academic enrichment. By partnering with our school district, the Y will be able to offer academic enrichment courses with an emphasis on Math and Reading that aligns with the curriculum used throughout the school year. Through this, the Y can assist in reducing summer learning loss while engaging students in fun learning experiences. 

 

During Summer Day Camp, kids will be able to enjoy various recreational activities, including kickball, soccer, volleyball, flag football, basketball, swimming, and so much more! Each day will include a new activity, giving your child exposure to sports they might not have had the chance to try. Arts & Crafts will complement the physical activity, giving your child a relaxing and creative outlet to explore and express their talents.

The program will be offered from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, with breakfast and lunch provided.  In the morning, activities will center around our Math and Reading academic portion. In the afternoon, students will be exposed to various Y activities, including; recreational activities, arts and crafts, swimming, gardening, and more!

Registration Dates:

Registration will begin on Monday, May 6th. Registration will be open until Friday, May 31st.

7:30am-8:30am – Student Drop-Off / Breakfast
8:30am-9:00am – Morning Check-In
9:00am-10:00am – Outdoor Adventure
10:00am-10:30am – Break
10:30am-11:45am – STEM Projects / Arts & Crafts
12:00pm-1:00pm – Lunch
1:00pm-2:15pm – Gym
2:15pm-2:45pm – Break
2:45pm-3:45pm – Arts & Crafts / STEM
3:45pm-4:15pm – Snack
4:15pm-4:45pm – Student Pick-Up

Juneteenth: Wednesday, June 19th: No Camp

July 4th Week: July 1st - July 5th: No Camp

Program Ages

Kindergarten - 6th Grade students ages 5-12 years old.  *Age ranges are strictly enforced.

Program Cost

$75 per week - Member

$95 per week - Non-Member

***There will be a $10 discount for the second child and a $15 discount for the third + child. 

Program fees are due ONE WEEK before the registered start date.

To register for the YMCA Summer Day Camp, download the Enrollment Form and return it to the YMCA Member Service Center. During this time, you will be expected to pay the Program Fee. After you have completed the registration process, you will receive your Parent Information Packet.
